IAKS Spain study tour, 31 Oct-2 Nov

IAKS Spain has developed the itinerary for a tour leading to sports facilities and sites for local cultural experiences in Barcelona and Madrid, Spain.

The three-day tour offers a unique opportunity to discover how the urban planning and architecture of sports facilities in Barcelona and Madrid are transforming these cities into more active, sustainable, and environmentally friendly places. The goal is to engage citizens more deeply in physical activity and encourage participation at all levels. 
Along the way, the group will explore open-access sports spaces designed for fun, healthy lifestyles, and inclusion for all. Visits also include innovative vertical sports facilities, where smart design solutions create multiple activity areas on different levels, without sacrificing the comfort and quality that physical activity deserves.

Transportation and hotel accommodation need to be organized by participants (see brochure with recommendations for hotels and train transport).

For local public transfers in Madrid and Barcelona, entrance fees to sports facilities, and dining experiences, IAKS Spain suggests to consider about EUR 590, to be paid for directly (in the metro / at restaurant / sports facility).
