On September 9, 2025, IAKS Germany invites you to the annual Indoor Seminar – this time in Leipzig.

As part of the seminar, we will visit fascinating sports facilities under expert guidance, focusing on the themes of inclusion and e-sports, offering exciting insights into their planning and implementation.

In addition to the site visits, participants can look forward to a comprehensive program of expert presentations addressing current developments, challenges, and best practices in sports hall design and operation.

An informal evening program will take place on September 8, offering a relaxed atmosphere for networking and exchange.

Site Visit: Paralympic Competition Hall

On the evening before the event, we will visit the new Paralympic competition hall at the Johanna Moosdorf School – a secondary school located in the eastern part of Leipzig.

Opened just last year, this hall is a flagship project for Leipzig as a sports city: It consists of two stacked triple-field sports halls, with the lower hall specifically designed for Paralympic competitions. Sports such as sitting volleyball, wheelchair basketball and rugby, blind goalball, blind football, and indoor boccia can be played here.

E-Sports: Visit to RB Leipzig Gaming

The topic of e-sports will also be brought to life through hands-on experience. Just a short walk from the conference venue, we will visit the RB Leipzig Gaming area. This will be followed by a specialist presentation by the Head of RB Leipzig Gaming – offering a fascinating insight into a scene that is gaining increasing importance within organized sports.
